Landscapers Delight
Kia’s yard it is a landscapers true delight. sometimes it’s been my nightmare but I adore it now honestly. I can’t believe it looks how it looks now compared to 2001.. There has definitely been a vast transformation of my space and foliage. I’m proud when I look at it and my neighbors and passers by always compliment the work I’ve done so far.
It’s one of those good things about life. The one true place I feel safe and connected to everything.
ahh the happy place in my life. The one place I feel like me at one with mother earth. It’s true and I feel it. 22 years of updating landscaping countless hours and many large surprising water bills of trying to get my sweet little grasses to grow grow grow. Adjusting the sprinklers and getting sprayed down. I live on a very steep hill and receive a great deal of WATER and rain water from my two neighbor’s runoff as well as a church parking lot is located on the hill above my home. So I get a lot of water coming down the hill during torrential rains in DC. So this time I built a much more super sturdy fence and did more landscaping with DC River Smart Project to add ground cover and plants that were native to the District of Columbia. Working with various contractors of all types and landscapers who have worked in my yard for a number of years. These are slides of the fruits of my landscape delights and the rich results and rewards and fruits of my hard labours… truly. enjoy all.
My yard is pretty much a landscapers delight or a landscapers dream to transform fix up. It is my little paradiso away, my sanctuary from the real city. For 22 years I have tried blew leaves cut trees planted watered pruned trimmed back etc. You still need outside help with the grass and lawn and the landscape over all. Sometimes I stand in the middle of the yard and marvel at the trees the leaves the colors the sun coming through on my grass. Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a lover of all things mowing. I love to mow the lawn. It truly is my happy places. I enjoy the summers although quite hot in DC mowing can be a great pass-time and help increase the heart rate and endorphins on my hill. This yard will certainly give me a full on work out. I enjoy raking and just beautifying the neighborhood. I will pick up trash around my neighborhood as well.
